OVERVIEW

The Antares Comfort A5 is an all season touring tire made for SUV, crossover and light truck vehicles. The manufacturer offers a 45,000 mile warranty with this model.

This tire has excellent all weather traction thanks to the all season tread design. It grips the road remarkably in dry, wet and light winter conditions. The tire is not suited for use in severe winter weather as it will not have as good a road grip as actual winter tires. The tire helps resist dangerous hydroplaning in deeper water, since the circumferential grooves help eliminate water from below the tire’s footprint. The tire is safe to be used year-round thanks to its great traction.

The tread pattern’s continuous center rib helps improve the steering responsiveness and accuracy of the model. The swift and accurate steering response to the driver’s commands increases the control over the tire and makes its handling effortless. This enhancement also enables the driver to confidently steer the vehicle in accordance to the changing road conditions, as it provides exceptional road feedback.

The tire’s performing capability is further boosted with the upgraded cornering ability and power. The shoulder tread design provides additional biting edges during cornering, which allows the tire to grip the road better. Since the tire’s cornering stability, power and ability are increased, the tire is safer to use at higher speeds and it perform well in those conditions.

The Comfort A5’s internal structure allows it to handle the weight of heavier vehicles, while also improving its comfort levels. The tire reduces the road vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle, and offers a smoother driving experience.
